European Language Centre was founded in 1991 by Daniël Stevens. From the start, we have developed language and culture training that perfectly aligns with our clients’ needs and wishes. We always guarantee a personal approach, quality, and flexibility.
The story of Daniël Stevens
European Language Centre has its roots in the Far East. ‘Before I founded European Language Centre, I only knew that I wanted to start my own business. What kind of business that would be, was still unclear to me. To give myself some time to think about the future and to see a bit of the world, I decided to travel to Japan. Needing to finance the trip, I approached CERAN to see if I could do something for them in Japan. This led to me having three appointments a day in Tokyo for a week. It was quite an experience, especially since they do not use street names in Tokyo!’
‘During this trip it became increasingly clear to me what product I wanted to offer with my own company: language training! As soon as I got back to the Netherlands, I set up European Language Centre as CERAN’s Dutch branch. It’s a collaboration that still exists today. Just as my journey and the start of my business opened up a new world to me, I hope our clients get that same experience of a new world opening up to them! This remains the core of our mission. Learning a language or discovering another culture enriches your life.’

Taking language or culture training literally and metaphorically opens up a new world to you! You not only learn to communicate better in a new language, but you also increase your self-confidence and mutual understanding. We create conditions in which everyone can efficiently and permanently master the language. Your wishes and possibilities are central to this. We are only satisfied when you are very satisfied!
